WELCOME TO RURAL IOWA AUSSIES & DOODLES

Hello and welcome to Rural Iowa Aussies & Doodles. Let me introduce myself and tell you a little bit about us!

 I grew up on a farm in southeast Iowa and heeler cattle dogs were always a big part of my life as a child. I always had a dog with me wherever I went. When I graduated from Iowa State in 2015, I came home to our family farming operation and I started raising Miniature Australian Shepherds.

Dogs are like potato chips, you can't just have one!! My husband Brent and I are now raising Miniature Australian Shepherds, Miniature Poodles and Miniature Aussiedoodles. Our daughter Finley and son Colt help us socialize our puppies and give them lots of love!!

We live in Central Iowa, near Grinnell, on a row crop and cattle farm. All of our dogs spend a lot of time roaming the pasture and enjoying the country life!

The breeds we raise are very near and dear to my heart. I love them all for many reasons and I believe they can be a great addition to your family depending on your lifestyle. 

Our dogs have brought so much happiness and love into our home and I love being able to share that same joy with others which is why I have such a passion for raising these sweet babies. 

Our goal is to improve the breed standard, focus on quality and most importantly raising healthy puppies that transition to your home smoothly. We strive to breed the best animals we can, educate their new owners and ensure these precious creatures get the love, care and attention they deserve.
